hey Jay, I am new to the website, but not new to general strenght routines. How often would you incorporate this routine into a week of training? Say the high school level? Is this something you should do before or after a run or workout?

Well, I have to be honest, I like that people can't download the runnerspace videos because a lot of that content is either in the RunningDVDs.com series or is content that I want to make the focus of future DVDs.

That said, I do want to share that content here and I just need to figure out the best method, yet I doubt that will happen this summer.

Also, the idea that I would share those for free at a site like RunnerSpace and then have a subscription option to this site - which includes downloads to all the videos - is also a possibility.

In the mean time I hope the athletes can simply watch the videos online to learn the routines and then execute the routines on the track.

Thanks for the comment and if others want to chime in about the subscription model (vs. me producing more DVDs) please let me know.

On a different project I am also trying to put together a mini-library on my
ipod of all the routines (both mine and yours) to have athletes use during
practice... I really like the Blue Monk, Vern Leg, plyoaccels and Lateral
Lunge routine but I cant find a way to download them... (reason 100 why
runnerspace frustrates me)

any chance you can throw them up on vimeo (or directly to me)? I know you
are doing a thousand different things, but if you have a chance....

thanks again for all you do for the sport... your routines and positive
spirit has helped me get refocused on fitness and getting my athletes
strong..

--
coach mac
hamiltontrack.blogspot.com

Would love to see it....you should make a team page on RunnerSpace.com if you decide to do the video thing.

Thanks Neal. I'm going to look for a balance - some in depth answers to difficult questions (and my best guess) but also more videos like this.

Once we get RunnersCoach.com up and running then I will have two options to share content, though it's good to know that videos like this one are important.

Thanks again.

Thanks, and yes, you need to be mindful of the volumes, yet the great thing about this series is that this particular series is very conservative - you do the routines during each 2 week period you'll definitely be able to handle the next assignment.
