Sunday Morning Reads 06.23.13

Good morning.

As many of you know I’m a fan of Matt Fitzgerald‘s book Run: The Mind-Body Method of Running by Feel.  A key point in that book is the role of the Central Governor in running. Here is an article from RunnerConnect on the subject and here is a post with two videos and several links from The Science of Sport.

If you are curious about how to race a 10k, here is an article I wrote for Active.com.  Thrilling finish to the men’s 10k at the US champs this past week – read here.

And finally, here are some new thoughts on tapering written by Amby Burfoot.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday.
