Four Elements of Each Training Day

Each training day we'll do a warm-up, then a run or a workout, we'll rev the engine with strides, then we'll do post-run work.

Long Run

The long run is a crucial part of the TTS. We'll do a weekly long run for much of the TTS (though we will replace it with a progression run at key times in the season). Learn how strides are used in the run, and learn how this workout teaches athletes to run by feel.

Farther or Faster (or Both)

It's crucial that athletes finish their challenging aerobic workouts saying either "I could have gone farther" or "I could have gone faster." There are also instances where they need to be able to say they could have done both.

Free Video - Consistency Is Key and the Track Training System

This is the same video you'll watch when you join the TTS. If you don't have a copy of Consistency Is Key we'll send you one when you enroll in the TTS.

"I have read and re-read CIK. The kids have copies as well. I understand the chapters clearly. NO problem. But watching the video just reminds me of what an awesome message CIK delivers to athletes as we leave XC behind and transition into track season prep." - Coach B, TTS Coach

Take the Guesswork Out of Training with the Track Training System
